Arya plays himself in Jayam Ravi’s film

We hear that Arya is all set to make a cameo appearance in Lakshman's Romeo Juliet: The New Version. The film, starring Jayam Ravi and Hansika in the lead, is about a guy who believes in the poetic romance of the bygone era, and a girl who wants safety and security in life.

Lakshman confirms, "Arya and I have been good friends even before we became part of the film industry. He's also my gym-mate. When I told him my requirements, he immediately agreed to come on board. Arya will be playing himself in the film, and we are yet to shoot his portions."

Interestingly, Arya and Jayam Ravi are also the best of friends in the industry and spend a lot of their free time together with the other young actors including Vishal and Jiiva. Some of the other films in which Arya has done a guest appearance include Maya Kannadi, Siva Manasula Sakthi, Kadhal Solla Vandhen, Va and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.
