மிகப்பெரிய பன்னாட்டு கம்பெனியின் சி.ஈ.ஓ-வாக இருக்கும் விஜய், தனது வாக்கினை செலுத்துவதற்காக இந்தியா வருகிறார். ஆனால் அவருக்கு முன்னரே அவரின் ஓட்டினை போட்டு விடுகிறார்கள். இதனைத்தொடர்ந்து தனது வாக்கினை செலுத்த விஜய் போராடுவதும், அதற்காக அவர் எதிர்கொள்ளும் பிரச்சினைகளுமே 'சர்கார்'.

BAAHUBALI DIRECTOR'S NEXT FILM

Director Rajamouli has signed with NTR and Ram Charan to play the leads of his next film-RRR, the film is produced by DVV Entertainment. This is Rajamouli's next film after his magnum opus, Baahubali - The Beginning, and Baahubali - The Conclusion.

The latest update on this film is that it will be launched tomorrow at 11 am. The makers had released a video today, that said the film will be launched on 11/11 at 11 am.

Bigg Boss sensation Janani Iyer said, "I feel, it is a healthy progress. The sexual harassment and abuses not only happen in cinema, but also in other fields. Since cinema is easily accessible and exposed, the issues here are much more seen. Even IT and Software industries have these issues. It would be nice if this movement is not misused and sensationalised.People should realise the importance of this movement and act accordingly, without diluting it. Also, it would be good if women come out and share their experiences, then and there, when it happened, without delaying it for months or years. We should sort out the issue at that moment."

கடந்த 2015-ஆம் ஆண்டு கமல்ஹாசன் நடித்து வெளிவந்த தூங்காவனம் என்ற படத்தை இயக்கியவர் தற்போது நடிகர் விக்ரமுடன் இணைந்துள்ளார். ஜிப்ரான் இசையமைக்கும் இப்படத்தில் விக்ரமுடன் அக்ஷரா ஹாசன் முக்கிய கதாப்பாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கிறார்.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:2.0 TRAILER RELEASE DATE

The teaser for the film released on September 13 and received a positive response for the massive VFX involved. The film is all set to hit the screens on November 29.

We had earlier reported that the speculated release date of 2.0's trailer is November 3, and now the official announcement has come from producers Lyca.

SANTHANAM'S NEXT

Thenandal Studios is tasting success at the box office with their latest outing, Mersal. Post Mersal,  they are all set to begin their new venture, starring Santhanam in the lead role, with Rajesh. M donning the directorial hat.

Project with Santhanam, produced by TSL, will start from December. It will be an out and out comedy entertainer. We've tried something fresh in the script, something new, which people haven't seen in my previous films.

ANTONY’S NEXT BIG FILM CENSOR AND RELEASE DETAILS HERE!

Actor Vijay Antony’s next big film is Annadurai directed by G Srinivasan. The trailer had released recently and the film’s censor test has been completed. It has been certified a U/A certificate with no cuts.

Also, the film Annadurai starring Vijay Antony has got its release date. It is going to be November 30, 2017 for this movie. Vijay Antony Tweeted, “#ANNADURAI ( Tamil ) certified U/A with no cuts @realradikaa @mrsvijayantony @SunTV @pictureboxco releasing worldwide November 30”.

As of now, 4 films namely Kodi Veeran, Thiruttu Payale 2, Aruvi and Richie are said to be eyeing this last weekend of November for their release. With Annadurai, it will make it 5 films. If all these 5 films do release for this weekend, it is possibly going to be a feast for movie lovers. However, we shall have to wait to find out if this happens.

Trisha's Next

Trisha's next film has been titled, Paramapadham Vilaiyattu. It is directed by Thiru Gnanam and produced by 24HRS. The film’s shooting commenced recently in Arcot at a 200-yr old palace where King Aurangzeb lived before centuries.

The first schedule will go on for 15 days, and the makers are planning to complete the shoot quickly without breaks. Nandha and Richard are playing important roles in this movie, which has musical score by Amresh and cinematography by RD Rajashekar.

A NEW RECORD IN KERALA

Mohanlal - Vishal starrer Villain which released on October 27th has set a new record in opening day collections for a Mohanlal film. The previous record was set by the actor's blockbuster PuliMurugan. 'Villain' was released in about 250 screens has reportedly collected approximately Rs 4.91 crores in Kerala on its opening day.

Though the movie has opened with mixed responses, the collection doesn't seem to be too affected in the opening weekend. Reports also suggest there were a record number (150) of fans shows played in Kerala starting early at 7 am. Villain stars Manju Warrier, Hansika and Rashi Khanna in prominent roles.

MERSAL BOX OFFICE: ''11 DAYS HAVE PASSED

Mersal, as we know has been creating records at the box office, and is making a historic run. On that note, here is the official word from the owners of two renowned theatres in Chennai, who shared their opinion about Mersal's box office performance. 

Ruban Mathivanan of GK Cinemas, a few hours ago, has tweeted saying that the film is going on houseful shows on its 12th day. He tweeted, "On the 12th day out of 6 scheduled shows 5 goes houseful #Mersal is creating records. Heaps of family audience every show!".

Likewise, Rakesh Gowthaman of Vettri Theatres tweeted yesterday stating, "11 days have passed, still there is no dip in the electrifying atmosphere, jus that now i can hear more of ladies cheers ...  #Mersal"

BAAHUBALI 2 SETS ANOTHER UNBEATABLE RECORD

Here are a few quickies that might have missed your attention:

1. The announcement for the second single traack from Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming Velaikkaran will be made tomorrow at 6 PM.

2. The 2nd schedule of shooting for Kalakalappu 2 has begun today at Kasi, and will continue on to Indore, Pune and Hyderabad. The shoot is set to be wrapped up by the 2nd week of December.

3. Baahubali 2 has set yet another massive, potentially unbeatable record. When it aired on TV recently on Sony Max, it received a TVR (TV Rating point) of 22.7. This means that about 22.7% of the base population subscribers watched the movie, which roughly translates to a whopping 2.6 Crore people!

Anushka Next Movie after Baahubali

Anushka as Devasena rocked the screen in Baahubali the Conclusion and she spent about five years for the project. When signing her next film, the actress was extremely picky and went on a break for months.

 After rejecting lots of movie offers, it looks like Anushka had found the right project that’s as good as Baahubali. The new film has been titled Bagmathi in which Anushka plays the lead and shares screen space with Jayaram, Unni Mukundhan.

It is a trilingual film set for release in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

SURYA AND ANIRUDH’S NEXT

Actor Surya’s next film directed by Vignesh Shivan is Thaana Serndha Koottam that has music by the super talented music composer Anirudh Ravichander.

Mersal 4 Day Collection Report

Reports about Mersal's record-breaking opening are all over the media. The film has indeed taken the box-office by storm. Looks like Vijay and Atlee have seen a handsome success in Round 2 as well.

Now here we bring to you the 4 day Chennai city collection report. According to Behindwoods box-office wing, Mersal has collected an approximate 5.45 crores from its 1st four days. With today being a Sunday, the turnout for the film is likely to be as strong as the previous days.

Sivakarthikeyan do a cameo role in 'Nanun Rowdy Than'

Sivakarthikeyan had done the lead role in 'Ethirneechal' and lead actress Nayantara had danced in that movie for one song. The movie was produced by Dhanush and it was said that Nayan did this favor for her friend Dhanush.

Now Dhanush is producing a new flick titled 'Naanum Rowdythan' under his production banner ‘Wunderbar Films’. Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara are playing the lead roles in this movie. Vignesh Sivan who directed 'Poda Podi' is doing the direction while Anirudh scores the music.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is said to do a cameo role in this new movie. Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan are good friends and it is believed that he accepted this for the sake of Dhanush. The official announcement about the confirmation is expected soon.

Pongal treat for Surya fans!!

Suriya's Masss is set for a summer 2015 release, most probably on the 27th of March or 3rd of April. This Venkat Prabhu directorial had its first look poster released a few months back and the next wait among fans is for the teaser or the motion poster or some other interesting promo. The director has shared through his Twitter space that there would definitely be an update about the movie for Pongal.

 

Nayanthara and Pranitha are the female co-stars in Masss which also stars Premgi. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music for this Studio Green production to be distributed by Dream Factory.

 

Pongal is already going to be made special by the likes of Ajith and Vikram with their next big releases, Yennai Arindhaal and I. Now Suriya is also set to make his presence felt with a 'Masss' update.

Purampokku shooting wrapped up

The shoot for the movie was wrapped up yesterday. The team had completed their shoot with canning few important scenes involving a helicopter. Now, the post productions works of the movie has been started simultaneously. Purampokku starring Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Shamm and Karthika in the lead roles is directed by S.P. Jananathan of 'E' and 'Peranmai' fame.Newcomer Varshan has scored the music for the film. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights of the movie.  The movie is jointly produced by Binary Pictures and UTV Motion Pictures.

AR Rahman completes work on Shankar's I

Shankar's magnum opus "I" is one of the hugely anticipated film. AR Rahman has completed the BGM and mixing work. The film is gearing up for Pongal release.
