After his critically acclaimed film Aaranya Kaandam won a couple of National Awards, the director of the film Thiagarajan Kumararaja has started to work on his next. He has signed up Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil to play the lead role in this movie and the rest of the stars are in the process of being selected.
The director took a three-year break after his debut venture and has put in a lot of groundwork, say sources. It may be mentioned that Ajith was also interested in working with his National Award winner but the project did not materialise for certain reasons.
