Actor Simhaa, who is most remembered for his role in Neram, is all set to start shooting for his debut film as a solo lead. Titled Urumeen, the film is being directed by Sakthivel Perumalsamy, and will go on floors from March 5.An excited Simhaa tells us, "The storyline of the film is very interesting, and the team is a competent one. I've known Sakthi for almost three years. He has seen some of my short films, and we've been discussing this particular story for some time now. We wanted to find good producers for the project. Now that everything has fallen in place, we will start shooting from March."
The film is an action thriller, and is about a youngster from a middle class family who finds himself in a sticky situation. Ask Simhaa the story's relevance to the title, and he smiles, "Urumeen is a kind of fish, and the some of its prominent characteristics will be reflected in the film."
Athithi will be seen playing the female lead in the film, and Achu will compose the music. The film will be shot in Chennai, Coimbatore and Hyderabad among other places.
