Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiyaan’, opened to packed houses across the globe, on May 23. The movie’s production house Eros International has now released the official box office collections for the opening weekend. Eros has reported that the movie has grossed Rs 30 crore in India and Rs 12 crore across other countries during the three day opening weekend (May 23-25).
The movie is all set to become a huge blockbuster, if the current trend continues. Directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, the movie happens to be India’s first film shot completely using motion capture technology.
